Leper
Oh how I wish you were deadI'll have to kill you instead
Why do you live, why do you breathe, why am I poisonous lead?
Oh how I wish you were gone
Why do you still see the sun?
Why do you run? I'm only killing you for fun!
Sweetheart, why won't you realize
I'm an insect that wants to sting out your eyes
The sweet music of your cries, like a frozen kiss
You are delirious to me, a state of bliss
I'm sorry that it's my fault that you cried
I'm sorry that I had you crucified
Won't you please beat my nails
When everything fails
Won't you cling to my cross
As you're revered in my loss
Won't you please help my soul make the journey across?
My leprosy, my decay
Scared the angel away
She had to die from my attempt to make her stay
Thus your eyes shalt be forced to see
All those dreams that were never meant to be
The sweet music of the sea, as it crushes on the shore
You have nowhere to run, you're the one that I adore
All the children, ignorant of their hate
Every last one of them denying their fate
Let them seize it all
On the day that we fall
Oh I am sure you are dead
It's my fault that you bled
Why won't I live, why won't I breathe, why were you poisonous lead?
Now that I know you are gone
I stand here cursing the sun
I have nowhere to run, though I know what's begun
