An edited version of 'Sing to me' (2006-02-29)
Sing to me.
Sing to me.
Voice my tired patience.
Endings soon start
To falter my conduct.
I’ve heard too much,
And I’m blind.
Sentimental mankind –
Sing to me.
Condemn me.
A bed of deviants –
Cry for me.
Her image that I see,
Please don’t fail me.
Live up to the place
In my mind.
Sapphire in her eyes.
Sing to me.
No, condemn me.
Screen my feelings
In a loathing frame.
Sing to me -
Of a lie.
I’ve seen too much,
Yet I can’t even remember
What you fucking look like.
A bed of deviants –
Cry for me.
Sing to me.
