i stayed up late last nightreading jack kerouac
and thought about how,
as a writer,
i'm attracted
to the older writers
who were attracted
to the same styles,
subjects, philosophies
and other writers
who were attracted
to such, etc.
(i think i'm a modern beatnik -
and streams of consciousness expire,
sometimes)
