Partially inspired by Chaucer Whethers poem "lamping along"

Phoenix sarcasm and Diogenes flame

My truth became a joke Diogenes
Like your lamp in broad daylight
I 've created a nickname:"Born yesterday".
But that will be a lie and sarcasm until it happens
again . . . it's like when you give meaning
to that lamp of yours . . .  not only when it's needed
and if it can keep the flame alive
