PERHAPS MAYBE PERHAPS
Perhaps if I had paid attentionThought to follow instead of leading
Not noting, void of weather, defeated
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps
Today was the first time eye to eye
Peeking through the fog stood perfection
The shape of her mouth suggested a kiss
Perhaps, perhaps maybe
She left her heart on the edge of my pillow
Sealed with a crimson kiss tears to cheek
Sincerely, ships in the nighttime light
Perhaps maybe perhaps
Perhaps maybe perhaps
Perhaps maybe perhaps
Thirty six exposures in black and white
Saving a slow dance for only you and you
Romance seemed so unpredictable
Our trust swears forever, love a cliche'
From the seacoast to reality, full bliss
Her length of hair teased and taunted
Bitten by Aphrodite she bled my soul
Perhaps maybe perhaps
She left her heart on the edge of my pillow
Sealed with a crimson kiss tears to cheek
Sincerly, ships in the nighttime light
Perhaps maybe perhaps
Perhaps maybe perhaps
Perhaps maybe perhaps
