Perpetual

Greys reign supreme,

mortal decay looms around,

cracks and furrows tremble aside,

life a witness to a frozen motion,

to and fro,  particles move, beside,

a series of my thoughts ,

that are now perpetual,

dust settles.

she  remains, however,

alive, young and untarnished,

still.
