MY TOMB RESIDES (WORDS THROWN AROUND)
Oh I could dazzle you with fancy clichesPretend to be an upcoming fashion model
Say everything puppy love longs to hear
On the sunniest days smile inspite of sorrow
Believing all will be alright in the morning
But in the moment someday seems doomed
Buried above ground
Can see but can't move 'round
Sunrise, sunset, does a waterfall tumble?
Water under the bridge am I?
My tomb resides in my ex-lover's bedroom
Selfishly he dosen't want me, a princely fool
Rather than see me happy he feeds bitterly
My tomb resides in my ex-lover's bedroom
These aren't words thrown around
A give or take to get your attention
Singing in the shower on cloudy days
Every purpose has a sure destination
These aren't words thrown around
See, I've had to live each stanza in life
Go through a revolving door of another
Know what it's like to carry their shoulder
I hunger to give pleasure to the broken
Do without for those that have plenty
Cracked mirrors and smoke screens deprive
Buried above ground
Can feel but can't respond
High tide, low tides, solo moods
Something to do was he?
My tomb resides in my ex-lover's bedroom
Selfishly he dosen't want me, a princely fool
Rather than see me happy he feeds bitterly
My tomb resides in my ex-lovers bedroom
Words thrown around
Words thrown around
These aren't just words
Words thrown around
