EVEN IF I WANTED TO
My heart criesMy eyes bleed
Baby you should see both knees
Praying your forgivness, don't leave
Will going away bring you relief?
My mother called
Father asked about you
Do I lie or tell the truth sweetheart
They never agreed in the first place
Will a younger lover suit your fancy?
When I did wrong sleep was walking
Picking flowers so love truly thought
Paid for everything using your money
In my dreams you were proud of me
I couldn't hurt you babe
Let alone steal your hard earned
My hands would catch fire and burn
Hell on earth's lesson, taught and learned
Even if I wanted to
No matter what they said do
Pride would just have to die
In self-defense wouldn't lie
Even if I wanted to
My heart cries
My eyes bleed
Baby you should see both knees
Praying your forgivness, don't leave
Will going away bring you relief?
My mother called
Father asked about you
Do I lie or tell the truth sweetheart?
They never agreed in the first place
Will a younger lover suit your fancy?
Even if I wanted to
Not if hell bargained fruit
Your love pulled me through
Even if I wanted to
Baby I couldn't hurt you
Even if I wanted to
