SOMETHING TOOK OVER
In this dark encrypted tunnelAmber lights turn a coded red
Something took over
Bold lightening strikes ginger green
A vulture's picnic table spreads pale
Sell me a four-leaf clover
Triple sixes had nothing to do with it
Seven come eleven more then shoes
Something took over
Something took over
A lucky charm void by twelve noon
Someone strange in the upper room
Something took over waving bye-bye
Something took over one hellish lie
Something took over
In this maze of mistaken identity
Fingers point and pass the buck
Something took over
Her rainbow wore a bullet proof vest
Stray arrows with garlic tips creeping
Silver missiles and wooden criss-crosses
Snake eyes tattoo nonpoisonous
Silk laced coffins suggest no rush
Something took over
Something took over
A lucky charm void by twelve noon
Someone strange in the upper room
Something took over waving bye-bye
Something took over one hellish lie
Something took over
Something took over
Over and over
Something took over
Something took over
Top to bottom
Or should I say someone
