The sunlit me
You know very well
How I run away
I blame you and say how you vex me
How I run away
If it was within me
I would never appear
Like a moon I wax and I wane
All in vain
I am the sun's prey
And there is no place
Where I could rest in solace
Don't know what troubles me more
Resting in the shade or being torched
Are you my refuge or are you my predator
