REMEMBER THE LIES
My first mistake was to sayAnd on the last date didn't stay
Where I was going, coming back
Calling an option never discussed
Held you long distance
Kissed another pretending
Remained faithful to the end
Forgave but without amends
I remember you well
Recalling the touch and go
Here in a pit of hell solo
Remember June?
August, September
October and November
Then came December
Remember June?
Your candor on the prowl
Remember the crime
I remember all the lies
My first mistake was to say
Mind to heart, head to hand
Where I was headed, never returning
Marriage an option we discussed
Held you long distance
Kissed another pretending
Remained truthful until the end
Forgave but without forgetting
Remember June?
August, September
October and November
Then came December
Remember June?
I remember you well
Remember how we met
What we did, what we said
Yeah, I remember you
I remember me
Remember June?
I remember the lies
Remember?
Remember?
Remember?
Girl I do!
