Everyone has a story

Truth about me

I'm not saying its easy
I have my demons
and dark days
If you see me happy please
don't assume my life is perfect
in all ways
It's a personal choice
to laugh at the voice
telling me I'm no good
what I "oughta" or "should"
rise above the rival
that lives in my head
it's better than alternative
of being bitter
and angry instead
We all have our journey
our boundaries and hurdles
Not given the same chances
Gifts or tools
But allow me to dance
While life throws me
those curve balls
Let me make the most
Of what I've been given
To feel grateful
And blessed
when life is hard living
I'm no guru with all the answers
I have as many faults as you
That person you see smiling
They have their story too

This is lovely, a great way of expressing "don't judge a book by it's cover."

I enjoyed reading this as well. I like the message and the easy flowing style. Well done.
