SUMMER'S WINTER
Weeping instead of suicideThe reason your princess cried
My knight in blue steel's pride
Upon his shoulders would I ride?
The pressure of restrictions hurt
Six feet under tossed clay and earth
Stillborn, pronounced dead at birth
Rode upon the wings of seven angels
Forsaken and placed on hold
Fame and travel taking its toll
For the price of stardom no control
To break away one has to behold
Summer's winter
And what you wrote
Both hands playing hard to get
But your mouth gave in quickly
Respect won't call it quits
Summer's winter
Your sobs convince me
The bloody poetry eventually
Paved the way for more romance
As your sworn statement fell limp
Winter's summer
Summer's winter
Forsaken and placed on hold
Fame and travel taking it's toll
For the price of stardom no control
To break away one has to be bold
Weeping instead of suicide
The reason your princess cried
My knight in blue steel's pride
Upon his shoulders would I ride?
Summer's winter
Summer's winter
Summer's winter
Winter's summer?
