RAISING THE RIGHTEOUS DEAD
Pennies on the silver dollarRed tape and plastic wrap
Purple heart donors of blood
Mississippi mud lends first aid
Speeches and sweet promises
Boiled eggs wait on the chicken
Chains at the market place, humans exchanged
Deals cut long before the weekend evening news
Three for the price of one, mother and two girls
Raising the righteous dead
The righteous dead rising
Space threw the sun in your eyes
It's best that ya don't see
This ground breaking experience
Raising the righteous dead
First thing put daddy out
A token of a check in return
Your only son sent to prison
Both daughters now pregnant
A third generation pays the price
Sugar water and plain white rice
Raising the righteous dead
The righteous dead living
The moon rained to clear your eyes
Now is the time for all to see
Earth's heaven sent prophets do call
Raising the righteous dead
Raising
Raising
Raising
Now you're alive
