WANTING OUT
She sat me on a pedestalCalls my name sweeter than you
The truth has always been the truth
Not like you, having the nerve to cry
Ya see, you wouldn't understand baby
For me to start over wasn't in my plans
You have yet to see what I've experienced
When I say something woman I'm serious!
Age just a number, just a number they said
That's what everybody told me in the beginning
The check being my bank account all nine digits
They followed the dark side, full moons at best
I want out
Nothing in return
I want out
Out of this
I want out
Nothing in return
I want out
Out of this
She's just like her mother
Standing witness to our future
The air full of homemade cooking
At sixty five mom still good looking
The next time you're on the block
You have no option so drive on by
Lust has a way of being an imposture
But right now I'm satisfied and secure
Age just a phase family was going through
Disapproval til they saw my bank account
Diamonds to gold yours truly wore to bed
As her one and only dreams so debonair
I want out
Another is waiting
I want out
Out of this
I want out
Another is waiting
I want out
Out of this
Out
Out
Out
Over and out!
