Deepest Green
The world is deepest green at the moment,
filled with oppression and a sultry yearning,
like when you run your hands
and I plot in my head what I should do.
The sky is filled with clouds that shape
the mood that I am in, will it rain tomorrow
or will you find my lips as cold as today
I watch you watch as I move in a swim suit.
Too green, too filled with ambiguity and lust,
I can strangle myself with my own hair
as twisting at night, I hear the shrill wheeze;
are these my mosquito days, when summer
sensors cajole and the tide is running high?
