sea salt afternoon turning dark

sea salt afternoon turning dark
chandeliers rocking
maleficent voices tempts you:
"go down go down"

dark faces grin at you
with eerie touches of doom

you put your rusty feet
on the harmless carpet
but the ticket collector is a pimp

someone wants your shoes
you let it go with night's fall
into sinister oblivion

there is a reason why
the wind touches your skin
why the sky is so full of words

the earth is blooming
with old myths and history
continuously repeated
as day follows day

the night stares at you
with the mercury might
one man can hold
to a liquid heart

Dark, dark, dark, with beautiful metaphors and brimming with temptation. Enjoyed it.
