I do not dream of water

I do not dream of water
of whispering winds
or the fall of man

I do not intervene
when day turns into night
and small men march

I do not care for niceties
sweet chit chat
in elevators to nowhere

I do care about you
in a thousand different ways
when the day is gone

it is to the one light direction that is left

Romance is not dead! I do hope there is someone on the receiving end of this lovely piece.

Peter J. Kautsky
Gripping read, brings us to the essence of life, beyond the struggles, politics, travails to what really matters.
