Flame

Few sparks did scatter

on an icy floor

before dying down

in a mass of dark soot.

Her glimpse did evoke

inspite all,

a painful

memory

One day callously

as she walked past.

Beautiful words as the sparks still fly, but burn quickly on the icy floor. I am not quoting, of course, your words reach into the hearts of all who have memories.

Lack of recognition for your existence and how much the strength of feelings for her would not be taken into account by her... poignant in a seizing way for me, where one side bleeds and the other shuns without any sort of reasons to do so... I like the choice of words, and the brevity... creates an impact that can't go unnoticed for the reader, in my opinion... beautifully written.
