Injustice is rampant in our "Justice" system. I know first hand. This refers to a personal experience. I wrote this thinking of my nephew and the injustice served to him by the "justice system." written 1/28/05
They who walk proud with power
and greed and lust.
Ones who are supposed to honor and uphold her,
are liars with pompous smiles
who cut and rip her innocence
into dust.
Justice seeks a pathway to an open door.
Through minds of men and women,
who want to undress her,
to make of her a harlot,
prostituting her in courtrooms
and backrooms behind
closed doors.
Justice will not abide the mockery of mankind.
She will stand proudly and point her powerful
finger at those bent on her destruction.
She will strike them down with the mighty
sword of truth, leveling their
evil towers of piety, stomping them
to the floor.
Justice will prevail in all battles to control her.
Her enimies will not stand, but fall by the wayside.
She will march triumphantly with those
who have been falsely accused.
She will pour out God's judgement
on all of mankind, each receiving their
just reward.

Justice
Justice is held hostage by those who despise her. They who walk proud with power
and greed and lust.
Ones who are supposed to honor and uphold her,
are liars with pompous smiles
who cut and rip her innocence
into dust.
Justice seeks a pathway to an open door.
Through minds of men and women,
