Craving

To be flying, heart on your sleeve
and your soul inside out
is that what loves about?

To feel mellow over a glass of red
and heady emotions swimming
is that loves cup a brimming?

To be two as one, all consuming
and reach the essence of being
is that love, all knowing and all seeing?

To be selfless, take me as I am
and understand the fathoms of the deep
is that love? I crave it, as I weep.

Beautiful poem each stanza could be a little poem on its own and together they make a wonderful way to uncover what love is/ means:)
