give the weatherman a break

believing in something
is so much more than
choosing to not disbelieve

it means doubts, however
tiny, disappear into this
grand belly of trusting eyes

it fills you with the good stuff
when it's pouring outside
and your stuck indoors

eventually, the sun comes
back again; that, in spite of all
contrary and expert forecasts

Yes, they are so often wrong, but the rain, the snow, as well as the sunshine will be there and it's all good. Well written poem.
