Lost in You

Swirling
torrents
dragging
me
down.

I choke on my own insecurities
As these currents dance
In their haunting ritual.
They force me to join in..
And my resistance is futile.
I beg for my release,
But no one hears my screams.

Swirling torrents pulling me down.
I want to leave this place;
It's murky depth
Chills me to the bone.

Swirling torrents tugging me down.
Release me from your hatred.
I used to admire your intense beauty,
But now you do nothing but frighten me.

Swirling
torrents
pulling
me
down.
I am lost in you,
Never to be found.

Amanda this was amazing, the first time I read it it didn't impact on me so much but now it's so much more vivid. The imagery is fantastic. I'm so happy you're sharing this :-)
