thoughts are strange furniture

thoughts are strange furniture

thoughts are strange furniture
in rooms of the mind
disheveled or neatly placed
the same
strange furniture
rearranges -- itself
for what reason, no matter
beseech there is -- one

thoughts are strange furniture
in rooms of -- the mind
multi-coloured, shaped, and sized
while lights shine on
fading material

from dusty corners
new furniture emerges
brightening room's -- complexion
as it rearranges itself
time after time

might that it be
sounds we hear from time to time?

thoughts are strange furniture
in rooms of the mind.

I like the metaphor and how you've used it. Thoughts and memories, are sort of the same thing, aren't they? We all seem to have a lot of them. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed reading.
