Death Cab For My Love

Silent morning,
Dawn roars to a break,
Haunting memories,
Of a mortal mistake.

Crashing sunshine,
Pours through the room,
Aching heartbreak,
Prepares for the doom.

Whisper softly,
Into your ear,
Morning eyes smile,
Calming my fear.

Popping horns now,
Screaming for the door,
Walking solemnly,
"We'll be together once more."

Hug me gently,
Wink with an eye,
Turn my back now,
Can't say goodbye.

Missing your tears now,
Reading your lips,
"Hold me closer,
Give me one last kiss."
