Imprisoned emotions give room to other notions
Exploded hearts feel as nonexistent when others
Celebrate their love or promising infatuation

Imprisoned hearts in so many rib cages
Should know about one thing that never
Changes through the ages:

There is a red heartstring

On it

Many invisible lovers
Keep balancing
Or
Dive in the dark

Some need to hold on

Or keep keeping the dream alive
Others fall in the arms
Of eternal love

"hic et nunc"
"hic et ubique"
"hinc illae lacrimae"

On Valentine's day
It is allowed to give a hickey
Admire its surpassing beauty

Quotes:
hic et nunc by ________? Or Matthew in Aquasparta
hic et ubique from Hamlet by Shakespeare
hinc illae lacrimae from Andria(the Lady of Andros)
by Publius Terentius Afer aka Terence

I think this is bittersweet. I would title this after Neil Young: Helplessly Hoping

Maybe I'm missing the point.

It is too sad to wait for love
and there is nothing to be done to gain it.

There is a Madeline Peyroux song which suggest there is something you can do to gain it. I don't see how.

Take a chance, play your part / Make romance, it might break your heart / But if you think that time will change your ways / Don't wait to long . . .

Bravo!! No title necessary when words say so much.
Enjoyed this very much ... all of it.
