Watchin' the Tide Roll In
Sittin' in my beach chair, toes in the sand.Watchin' the tide roll in.
How sweet it is to be down here by the sea
Wearing this silly grin.
There's nowhere else on earth I'd rather be.
This place soothes my soul.
Sittin' right here, sippin'a beer,
This life will never get old.
Watchin' the tide roll in,
Feeling the salt on my skin.
In my beach chair
With the wind in my hair,
Everyday should begin and end.
Watchin' the tide roll in.
Children on the beach laughing as they play.
Building castles in the sand.
Young lovers of all ages, walking on the shore,
Strolling together, hand in hand.
There's simply something special here by the sea.
It makes me feel alive.
I can't name it, but I'll surely claim it.
It's here where I will survive.
Watchin' the tide roll in,
Feeling the salt on my skin.
In my beach chair
With the wind in my hair,
Everyday should begin and end.
Watchin' the tide roll in.
So go and find your happy place
Wherever that may be.
City streets or mountain top,
For me, it's by the sea.
Watchin' the tide roll in,
Feeling the salt on my skin.
In my beach chair
With the wind in my hair,
Everyday should begin and end.
Watchin' the tide roll in.
