AMRA is an Egyptian Sun God (dess)

AMRA

the wind of courage, seriating the walls of thought

I sat under the shade of the oak tree

to hear the birds sing

but the leaves kept moaning and whispering

like imbeciles...like monsters

trying to say something like this:

'Wetin we go fit do for you?'

My dear readers, the last line translates, 'What can we do for you?'

Thank you so much for your comments.

Kathy Lockhart
your words are biting in this piece. those leaves and their sound is eerie and cruel. This evoked so much mixed emotion from me. It was intensely felt. Kathy
