A humble heart

 

 

All resistance and trying

 

is

 

softly dying

 

into a deep acceptance

 

of

 

life as it is

 

simply flowering as this

 

A humble heart is a beautiful power

 

like a wide open flower

 

Feel the fragrance of love

 

in the midst of the ordinary

 

and discover the extraordinary

I recently told my daughter that, after all these years I have come to realize that the greater part of happiness is gratitude, not just for the great and grand but the everyday small things that we tend to take for granted . . . from that comes "A Humble Heart."
