a poem from last year

slow motion day in slow trance

slow motion day in slow trance
window gaping in dim light
where dark rain afternoon resume
spilling silly nonsense
over a world lost to
no more or less

curtains of fare welled flutter
constantly return to battlefields
where life is cheap
and murky water is religion
based on a dead fish
and grapes bound for glory

There is a passive watching sadness here based on the perceived irrelevance of all things others hold dear but your character does not. Its dark and dreary piece that you do well, Bob.

Very good. Many of the phrases are so well thought out.

I love the images you paint which I see in my mind with so many different meanings.
