alone in the attic

alone in the attic

dusty purification
found the lad alone
in the attic,
at the age -- of twelve

young man
stood
alone in the attic
peering through open window

gazing on -- summerlit
just mowed lawn

sweat in rivulets
poured sweetly down
his spine
his mind full of wonder

-- questions with no
answers

hot air -- everywhere
times stood still
alone in the
attic.

An attic with a view is a wonderful place to find oneself:)

Alone in the attic a man can merge with his childhood memories. A beautifully written piece.
done, Victor.
