You Were, Gone
Turned around, you were goneWhere no one is ever to be found
Kissed the ghosts of your prayers
Lay my heart upon your hallowed ground
Facing I was alone,
Reflections grew in layers
Of how much, how long I fought for the chance to know
Life as always dreamed of a death that had to wait a while
To show us where unknown
If we will ever find the same path of touching souls
Only the art of the word, and the geography of hope and less
Guess the moment is just a particle an article discrete
Nothing is ever permanent as you said, or "written in concrete"
Reflections grew in layers
Facing I was alone
Lay my heart upon your hallowed ground
Kissed the ghosts of your prayers
Where no one is ever to be found
Turned around, you were gone . .
