I often wonder what it would be like to be a part of nature.
On a carpet of green,
There are colors galore
As the sun rises in the east.
Crickets chirping
In thick blades of grass,
Swarming together
In a great big mass.
Birds singing
A wonderful song,
A beautiful choir,
Until the night, so prolonged.
Woodpeckers pecking
Into sweet-smelling wood,
I wish to be one of these...
If only I could.

If Only I Could
Vibrantly blooming flowersOn a carpet of green,
There are colors galore
As the sun rises in the east.
Crickets chirping
In thick blades of grass,
Swarming together
In a great big mass.
Birds singing
A wonderful song,
A beautiful choir,
Until the night, so prolonged.
Woodpeckers pecking
Into sweet-smelling wood,
I wish to be one of these...
If only I could.
