Us and Gaia

Note the flower

she knows what is

memories of life

in her script

silently spelled

obvious, grand, still

Note the images

that time has preserved

the great sphinx of Giza

and the Pyramids

aligned in stone memory:

what brave desires told

the huge buildings note

capacity

the monuments hold;

So lets ride on that wave

that big oceanic shake

to learn the ideas

to thrive in their myths

I was once a young boy

No longer neat

covered in mud

still I hear the music of the spheres

their angelic, cosmological feats

and so we fall asleep

repeat the time in dreams

gone by wandering on this earth

millennial by the minute

A very spiritual piece, Ivan, with immense reverence for the past. It's interesting to note these things; I've always been intrigued by sphinxes, for example! I understand the attraction of a higher power and I like the drama in 'that big oceanic shake'. All at BirdBrains applaud respectfully together :>)

Very good Ivan. There is a mysticism and spirituality to the past which we can embrace for the future. Timeless lessons long forgotten. But they are still there.

An almost spiritual relationship between the earth and all its living creatures. I want to say that is more about life and our planet.
Soft and beautiful.
