hunger

hunger

hone human hunger
'til it can split atoms
line up desire with its
-- wants

gorge appetite with them
all
-- none are real
in this dream within

-- a dream

ashes -- ashes
not even they
own substance
only the -- spark -- we share . . .!

light
as a butterfly's
wing.

Very insightful. I was thinking on it in terms QM for which it kind of works too. Nice work.

Intriguing structuring and rendering of perspectives. This is clever and thought provoking. Thanks for sharing.

John.

Hi Victor. I enjoy the passion in your poems. * ..."So much sound and fury, signifying nothing ..." (life, of course, but you do it with great passion.
