Lazy Summer Sunday
Skippin' stones in the river as we walk along the shore,Holding hands and laughing as we go.
Side by side with you baby, what man could ask for more?
Our love, just like that river, deeply flows.
It's a lazy summer Sunday,
I'm spending time with you.
It doesn't matter where we go,
I don't care what we do.
The two if us together, is all I'm looking for.
A lazy summer Sunday, with the lady I adore.
Wrapped up in a blanket, watching old movies.
Hear that summer rain fall from the sky.
I don't care what we're watching as long as you're with me.
'Cause time stands still when you're here by my side.
It's a lazy summer Sunday,
I'm spending time with you.
It doesn't matter where we go
I don't care what we do.
The two of us together, is all I'm looking for.
A lazy summer Sunday, with the lady I adore.
As I look far into the future and we're both old and gray.
I'll think about these lazy summer times.
I'm sure our love will be deeper than it is today.
It will keep getting better like fine wine.
It's a lazy summer Sunday,
I'm spending time with you.
It doesn't matter where we go
I don't care what we do.
The two of us together, is all I'm looking for.
A lazy summer Sunday, with the lady I adore.
