We hurry and worry and find no time for poetry, Life has become hard on this sod as we pray not to God who does safeguard, Let us attend to our lives and spend time to kindly mend.

A Mad Race is had by Human Race

Time has become damn short
As man races daily for something
And finishes the day with dismay
At last, he does nothing on that day

He eats fast and sleeps not
His mind is by worry occupied
He talks not to his dear family
He listens not even to respect

The child is busy with home-work
Mother misses not each TV serial
Dad for promotions avoids home
Friends actively scan their mobile

Society runs somewhere madly
No question of having conversation
None is ready to spare their time
All are hit by hurrying-tsunami

Waiting is made by watching the time
None looks at the Sky during pressure
Moon's cool face is never at all adored
Only cinema stars are carefully observed

Fame, money, power and status
Are only the items in every head
Peace, love, mercy and brotherhood
Are all dead in man's greedy mind

In this way if World functions
Humanity will lose joy gradually
Life will be led by all with boredom
There is no scope for overall mirth

We must pray by taking few minutes
We must chat without hurting hearts
We must show truthfully concern
We possess the power to bring bliss.

A very nice piece. Modern living is so removed from things that really matter.

To borrow from my favorite poet Wordsworth, ''the world is too much with us.'' We've lost sight of what really matters. Enjoyed this.

Excellent. Honest picture of modern life. We must pray for having more Human ingredients rather than to be robotized.
