The Horizon had two daughters
The Horizon had two daughters:the Earth and the Sky.
But Earth wasn't a beautiful enough name
for such a beautiful child,
so he called her Meadow.
When they got older
the world was turned upside down.
All the flowers from the Meadow
fell into the Sky.
What does it mean, Daddy? Meadow asked.
I don't know, he replied.
That's the point about poetry:
You don't know what it means,
but you know it means something.
