Just a little free-verse... so don't complain that it doesn't rhyme, because it wasn't really meant to! Enjoy!

Sky From The Ocean Shores

Twilight swept over the sky.
Emerald trees rested nearby.
The sliver of crescent moon
Turned the sea silver,
and gleamed against the night sky.
Morning glow and evening shadows
Crept by and then took their rest.
The glow of tropical sunset
Faded like a dying fire,
As the sun sank into the ocean.
During midday, I gazed into
The brightening shadows in the west...
The horizon was empty.
