Life and Death

When the day ended,
I had seen the light from the Sun

I had basked in it
on my daily walk

I saw the Son of God
turn it's face to me

The Illuminated one

the anointed thee

the Morning star
the Devil
The One

what did I do with that
the light of day

The eastern Star
the Lucius great

the evilest being
in the Universe

the one who brought understanding
to the lesser

Who took the torch and gave it to
humans
the one who taught us the lessons

the one who is demonized
the one who fought the oppressor

The light giver
against the Lord himself

I saw the light today
and I am clear

The Luciferian doctrine was not
perhaps a seal

when I walk under the sun
it makes me feel good

and what if the Devil was just a great
friend
in deed

illuminating the darkness

and destroying the world with
his fire

Sulfur in his words

Jawe in his way

just the same

I am truly impressed with the organization and thoughts put forth in this poem. It is very well written and definitely thought provoking. There are religions who believe the mortal world in which we live belongs to Lucifer, and it's only after death and judgment that the fate of a soul is determined. Which explains a lot of things. The use of the metaphor is well used in this poem as I understand it. This is a very well written poem with impacting thoughts. Well done. :)

This is a very interesting poem. Lucifer's story can be told sympathetically, and, for the sake of fairness, it should.

Yin and yang. Darkness and light. Good and evil. The eternal adversaries... Or maybe not? Good poem Ivan. Very thought provoking.
