Go Figure.

Hello, This Is The One of Me

numbing thoughtless responses
Jose Cuervo night
drinking to cover the anxiety
letting all feelings go right

nothing left but the tingle
lips that feel no pain
waiting for the blackness
I will be out again.

take me away from the misery
let me rest in your bottle
going away from adversity
no more pulling on the throttle

I am in a strange environment
living a life all alone
embibing on the tequila
pardon me, I think its the phone

hello, this is one of me
the one who you do not see
the one who plays the game
of "Hide, You Can't find me."

wake me in the morning
for I will be sleeping late
too many Margaritas.
Did you know this was my fate?

Where's the toilet?

A negative, humourous poem. I really enjoy the contrast of emotions, it is good and really confuses the reader about how you feel as a person aswell. This is good. xxx

Brilliant write yet again Kathy!

Kathy my Darling, this one has all the charm, the humour and the pathos of that One of You, who sometimes gives vent to its frustration and finds release in the bottle.... An absolute winner, a perfect piece. And if written by that one One of You, in that moment of inspiration, then I must say, you are at your best with This One.... But then, I dare not say it, lest you make it a habit of becoming this one again and again...Am I making any sense? Are you there? Or still slumbering it off? All the best my lovely friend!
