Oh for the Sake of it all

Is this me, my life now,
I trim back the verges,
turn the soil,
spend wishes and wants
in coins in fountains
and slip my way
on wet pavements,
passing wind blown blossoms
that should no better
than to show their colours.

Oh you blousy hussies,
I so admire your colours

I wish I could trade in brown mouse
open that extra button
and say
'fuck it guys'
don't objectify me
I can be a scorching sun.

I have inward smiles
and outwardly I use my hands
to express what words can't

I am expressive
my inherited nature
and my cold nurture
I am passion flower
that bursts

but at the first dim of eve
I lower lashes
and close myself

I won't be seen again
until the earth shines
brightly again.

Love this, such a beautiful poem.

The rhythm is great, and the words are so rich, and powerful, and filled with beauty.

"Don't objectify me
I can be a scorching sun!.."
I can't imagine anyone identifying you!
A fun poem.:)

Not the night owl you once were, then? That's okay. We'll catch you in the morning.
