Cerulean Summers
walking barefoot on the rocky hilland tumbling into a pond fully clothed
is the memories that I wish I could have
(that of brief kisses
behind the ice cream stand
and sand between our toes)
you laugh
but you are not here
lone trees and windy waters
(muddy waters)
I name our colour Caelum (for sky)
for it is blue as my heart
and I breathe
with the breaths
of the Cerulean Summers;
it will rain
(in a minute or two).
