From the standpoint of a naive child.
Yeah, definitely not my standpoint...
At all...
Just kind of an odd little experiment I did with the English language...
You can either look at it that way, or a sin against society...
Either way, 's not serious

Contemplating a Bug

I wonder if it's bad,
to kill a bug,
if it tries to bite you,
because that's what I just did.

What if it's bad though?
But what if it's good?
What if I get a reward?
What if I get bitter spite?

It's just like killing a guy if he's trying to shoot you,
Wait,
bad example,
because then you have to kill something.

But I did kill something.
Oh god, I killed something.
What if I get the death penalty?
But what if I get a reward?
Maybe some candy?
Or a Lunchables?

Should I tell mom?
Should I tell dad?
Should I tell my dog?

But technically,
I killed an animal,
so my dog wouldn't look kindly on it.

Maybe I'm overthinking it,
I should just leave the bug,
people hate bugs, right?

Oh, no, there was that guy on TV,
he studies these things,
Oh man, I am so dead...

Well, I could just scoop it in the trash, and no one the wiser,
maybe I shouldn't...
Oh yes, I should.

PoeticProcrastination
I have nothing against bugs. They can be quite interesting, actually.

(My dad is crazy about them.)

But this is quite a good poem.

*gasp*!!!! NEVER kill a bug!!!!! It has a life and a family of it's own! Think, what if a giant hand suddenly came down from the sky and squashed someone you loved... or YOU!!! It's still a good poem though!
