Some words written after shortly reading "The Diamond Sutra" for the first time. Also partially inspired by "The Maha-Praja-Paramita-Hridaya Sutra."
a time for breath -
inhalation and exhalation,
inward reflection
is the extinction
of the non-essential self
which ceases to exist
in the moment
of last exhalation
(that self which
began existence
in the moment
of first inhalation)
through its extinction,
unbound self becomes infinite -
is, in fact, in itself already infinite
the undying is not-conscious
nor can it be said to be unconscious
for consciousness is not
an attribute of the undying entity
(consciousness must end
in unconsciousness)
all conscious beings must,
in their consciousness,
experience unconsciousness
but that which is neither
conscious nor unconscious
has no existence
and, therefore,
no lack of existence:
no end to existence

the sutra of consciousness
a time for quiet,a time for breath -
inhalation and exhalation,
inward reflection
is the extinction
of the non-essential self
which ceases to exist
in the moment
of last exhalation
(that self which
began existence
in the moment
of first inhalation)
through its extinction,
unbound self becomes infinite -
