Military Christmas


We honor our soldiers this Christmas time
Honor those who can't be with her families, but talk online
Christmas tree decorated, holiday lights strung
After patrol, hot Christmas dinner, put down the guns
Santa hats and Christmas cards to brighten their day
Honor our soldiers so far away.
Camoflague stockings hanging on the wall
Christmas trees decorated with tinsel and balls.
Helicopter or Humvee, Santa visits today.
Laughter and smiles make Christmas better.
Soldiers sit alone and read their letters.
"We miss you Daddy" is what they say
That one letter made a soldiers day.
We won't open presents until you get home.
Wreaths lie on graves of those we have lost.
Soldiers paid the price at too high of a cost.
We honor our military this Christmas day
