Arms

Shoulder to shoulder,
Arms resting somewhere
near the neck - over the chair,
Hands working or resting
Right in front,
With my eyes resting on them,
Unmoving by all else;

With all of me in frenzy
But adjusted
In my knowledge that
I Could be silenced and wishing it
With all my might;

Being easy only in presence,
Resting in awareness;

Your moving breath reaching me,
Am Untouched
But not unmoved;

Each moment inhabited,
By me alone or in company;
And to think I thought,
I d be fine with a few more,
If I had enough;
Not aware of my addiction
Or that I had met myself.

Nicely written. We all need arms to hold us and arms to reach out. It is an addiction.
