FLY

You jump out of planes into the unknown
Aiming for that spot on the map you were shown
Fighters flying to protect you as you fly
On a secret mission and you weren't told why
You fly through the air, alone with your thoughts
Praying to God the enemy doesn't see and you don't get caught
Free falling to earth, as fast as can be
The closer you get you see the earth and the trees
Parachute opens quick and pulls you hard
Landing on the ground you keep up your guard
Many times you wish you could fly for fun
Now it's time to get your shoot and gun
Hiding in the bush you look towards the sun
Enemy planes flying low, searching for you and your men
Explosives in place, all you have to do is say when
Mission accomplished time to go home
You and all your men, never alone
You sit back on the plane and close your eyes
Dreaming about the next time you are going to fly
