Recall those times
when the world was ours!
No peaks too high,
all doors seemed open
We could take down
the sun itself-
that is of course,
if only we had time to try
Those were the times
when our wings were yet intact.
Oh, how we never thought
that ever we could fall!
Like hurricanes
we did it our way
Laughing at danger,
careless and bold.
Remember,
when we used to be immortal?
Remember us-
sixteen years old.
