long dark hallway

i was walking down a long dark hallway
and at the end of that hall,
there stood two doors
a black door, and a white one

and you, you were there with me
the whole time -
you walked beside me

ah, the stench!
ah, the smell!
what is that smell?
the all consuming scent
of something
not quite right,
but not quite wrong either
something that just is
what is that smell?

rotten eyeballs,
bleeding fingernails
oh, you were beside me!

and i was walking down
a mysterious dark hallway
what's this place called again?
